1st Chestnut: Arrival [Action/Voice]

Action/Voice

[People who happen to be making use of the Hot Springs might take note that there's a stranger in their midst. A short, bald man with six little dots on his forehead is laying down and sleeping on one of the deck-chairs near the edge of the tub. He's dressed, at least, but that doesn't change the fact that he's just there, dozing away with a journal for a pillow. Occasionally he lets out a little sigh of contentment, mumbling to himself in his sleep and seemingly oblivious to the world around him.

After a while, he does wake up though, and looks around, completely lost. In his flailing he notices the journal he's been laying on and grabs it up.]

Huh? What...? Well how the heck did I end up in a hot spring? And...what's with this thing? Oh man I hope that blinking light doesn't mean it's gonna explode or something. That'd be just my luck...

[There's the sound of random buttons being pressed and the picture flickers a few times before Krillin realizes that the blinking light means that it is, in fact, recording. He sounds immediately apologetic, and just starts speaking normally, if somewhat formally.]

Uh...sorry about that. My name's Krillin and ah-hehehe I don't know who's Capsulepad this is, but I found it and I wanna return it. The book model is really cool, I didn't even know they made them, but I'm not a thief. If you can hear this, then let me know where you are and I'll return it right away. Only, I guess it'd be great if you could give me some directions too.


[Later, after he's finally departed and begun to poke around his new surroundings, Krillin makes a beeline for town, whizzing along through the chilly air and cursing his luck. It's cold, and his clothes are freaking gone, and he of course missed the teleporter. Once he finds and swipes some clothes, he'll start poking his head around trying to find out where he can get some food and more information. So, expect him to turn up in the Item Shop, Bakery, and Welcome Center.]

[About the time he starts spouting off to that book of his is when the door to the springs themselves opens from the changing room. One hand shuts the door behind her as the other adjusts the tuck of the towel wrapped around her. She's never been to this hot spring before but hey, it's better than sitting in her apartment being bored.

She pauses though at the sound of a voice before she fully moves the rest of the way in. The voice is a touch too masculine for the female side. What, a peeping tom already?]

[Krillin looks up from the book, suddenly very very worried. It sounds like it's Android 18...and wouldn't that just be a nightmare.

Great...just great...]

Uh...it's...uh...it's just me. Sorry about that...ah-hehehe...I just woke up here, and I...um...what I mean to say is...I have no idea how I got here. Or where here is...

[And this is where he just starts rambling and blushing out of total fear that she might just punch him to death or something, because good looking or not she is a little scary...]

[Oh lawd the shot of anger that courses through her for a moment hot on the heels of her surprise. She very nearly does stalk over and plant her fist right in that stupid dotted face of his.]

... Wait, you woke up here?

[Now that she steps further in and considers him just hangin' out there on that deck chair.

Then she plants a fist on one hip, her other hand held securely onto her towel. A scowl fixes itself on her face.]

Hmph, that figures. You do realize you're on the women's side, right?

Dunno what a Capsulepad is and what not but the journal is all yours to keep while you're here.

And there's a bajillion things that are way better to blow up than a journal. If you're at the hot springs then there should be a teleporter nearby that you can use to get down to the village. It's pretty chilly out there compared to the hot springs.

She thought she had been in here alone. So the sound of groaning and putting up a message gets to her. She looks, and... Stops.

[In an instant Adela grabs the towel at the side of the bath, throwing it at Krillin's face as she uses her other arm to try and cover her chest. Granted, the steam from the water is sort of helping cover up, but not even close to enough for her comfort. How did he even get there!?]

[Given that Krillin's always had hair for as long as she can remember, it's safe to say that he's from a time before she was born. He either won't recognize her or he'll mistake her for her mother, but she's still going to say hello.]

Hi Krillin! That's actually yours and it's not a Capsulepad.

[Whoa, Bulla, you really do look a lot like Bulma. Only...younger.]

Bulma? Or...man, Bulma's sister?

[Trunks pauses for a moment, that does look like Krillin but his hair is gone and so is his mustache. So he must be from before then. It can't be from when he's a kid, Krillin had hair then. Still, he figures it's better to talk to him than not.]

...Krillin? Um how much have you been told about this place so far?

[Krillin stares at the video for a second, blinking. Because hey, it's Trunks again!]

Well, this girl named Adela gave me most of the rundown already. But, uh, is there anything outside the whole trapped in another world I should know?
