1st Chestnut: Arrival [Action/Voice]
Action/Voice
[People who happen to be making use of the Hot Springs might take note that there's a stranger in their midst. A short, bald man with six little dots on his forehead is laying down and sleeping on one of the deck-chairs near the edge of the tub. He's dressed, at least, but that doesn't change the fact that he's just there, dozing away with a journal for a pillow. Occasionally he lets out a little sigh of contentment, mumbling to himself in his sleep and seemingly oblivious to the world around him.
After a while, he does wake up though, and looks around, completely lost. In his flailing he notices the journal he's been laying on and grabs it up.]
Huh? What...? Well how the heck did I end up in a hot spring? And...what's with this thing? Oh man I hope that blinking light doesn't mean it's gonna explode or something. That'd be just my luck...
[There's the sound of random buttons being pressed and the picture flickers a few times before Krillin realizes that the blinking light means that it is, in fact, recording. He sounds immediately apologetic, and just starts speaking normally, if somewhat formally.]
Uh...sorry about that. My name's Krillin and ah-hehehe I don't know who's Capsulepad this is, but I found it and I wanna return it. The book model is really cool, I didn't even know they made them, but I'm not a thief. If you can hear this, then let me know where you are and I'll return it right away. Only, I guess it'd be great if you could give me some directions too.
[Later, after he's finally departed and begun to poke around his new surroundings, Krillin makes a beeline for town, whizzing along through the chilly air and cursing his luck. It's cold, and his clothes are freaking gone, and he of course missed the teleporter. Once he finds and swipes some clothes, he'll start poking his head around trying to find out where he can get some food and more information. So, expect him to turn up in the Item Shop, Bakery, and Welcome Center.]

Action; 2/2
[Now that she steps further in and considers him just hangin' out there on that deck chair.
Then she plants a fist on one hip, her other hand held securely onto her towel. A scowl fixes itself on her face.]
Hmph, that figures. You do realize you're on the women's side, right?
Forever Action
[He sits up quickly, face going beet red at the sudden realization that 1) She's wearing nothing but a towel, 2) That he's only got pants on, and 3) That this is the girl's half of the bath.
And that makes him jump right the hell up!]
I...uh...no. [He looks a little more confident, now that he's actually talking and she's actually talking and not smashing his face in.]
Sorry, I'll get out of your way. I just sorta woke up, y'know...
no subject
Just pay attention and then get out, alright?
[She points authoritatively at the journal, wherever he may have left it.]
That thing is yours. This place is called Luceti, it's run by creeps called the Malnosso. You can talk to people through that journal. Other people tend to babble on like morons in it too.
[Hand back on her hip now. Yes, she realizes she's standing here in a towel. Is she giving him the satisfaction of knowing that does somehow bother her? Of course not.]
Don't pull any feathers out of your wings or hurt them, you'll only end up dying from it. So everyone has said anyhow.
[And with that the blond is going to turn and deliberately stalk her way back to the door like she has a vendetta she's going to go meet. SLAM goes the door open and she shoots a harsh look over her shoulder back at him.]
You can ask others about the rest. Now go find a shirt, it's annoying looking at you half-dressed.
[SHE'S NOT BLUSHING, LEAVE HER ALONE, SLAMMING THE DOOR BEHIND HER AND LEAVING NOW.]
no subject
When she's gone he hurriedly collects the...journal...capsulepad thing and a towel that happened to be there, and wraps it around himself before making to go. Wouldn't wanna make her uncomfortable, would he?
Except, he realizes as he starts towards the door that he has to go through the girl's changing room.
...oh great...
He knocks on the door.]
Uh...Eighteen. Are you decent enough for me to walk through? I...I'm sorry, but there...uh...isn't any other door outta here.
no subject
What do you need a door for, you can fly.
no subject
[He starts to float up, but then another thought.]
Um. Where am I going, anyway? Like, where the heck is this? And where can I get some clothes? It's really cold out, it looks like.
no subject
[A HEFTY SIGH GOES HERE.]
Wait.
[And then all is silence for the most part. The door eventually opens to the blonde dressed this time, though she still looks annoyed.]
Come on.
no subject
When she does get out, he blinks a little and smiles to himself, because man, that's a good look for her.]
Alright. Where are we going?
no subject
no subject
It's actually kinda cold out. Where is this Luceti place anyway? Somewhere up north?
no subject
no subject
[He shrugs, just accepting the explanation. See, he's a great listener, 18]
no subject
She leads the way out of the springs themselves and in the direction of the teleporter. In this sort of weather she was loathe to fly and who needed to when there were teleporters.]
Luceti is a small portion of the planet apparently. The Malnosso keep it sectioned off from the rest. Or that's what I've been told.
no subject
He follows her, trotting a bit to keep pace.]
So, it's like a city or a region or something? Or do you mean it's more like a pen or a prison?
[It's a reasonable question!]
no subject
[Then she offers a shrug of one shoulder, nonchalant as ever.]
If you want to know more, ask Trunks. He can't seem to keep his mouth shut anyhow. If anyone knows I bet he does.
no subject
Trunks? But...isn't he just a baby?
no subject
[They've reached the teleporter by now and Eighteen scowls at it like it personally wronged her.]
This one is a teenager. And he's a loudmouth.
[She gives Krillin a sharp look.]
If he starts spouting off things about the future to you, just remember that it's all his future. Don't get any bright ideas.
[Well and Vegeta's too, so she's gathered.]
no subject
[Because he'd been basically a teenager...]
I mean, I thought since we stopped Cell and everything that time would be fake anyway. But does something else bad happen?
[Seriously, 18, you are so out of his league and he knows it. He's not even thinking that.]
no subject
[She makes an annoyed noise there and by god, she's blushing. And she doesn't appear to be enjoying it in the least. She huffs.]
One of them is my daughter, so he says.
no subject
And then she drops that bomb.]
Wait, you have a daughter? Wow! Uh...who's the lucky guy?
[So he can be totally jealous...]
no subject
What does it even matter who the father is!
no subject
I'm just curious, is all. S-sorry, Eighteen.
1/?
But well, in spite of everything and any hopes he might have had (because she remains unconvinced that people can just do nice things for each other without gain), he had helped her. More than once.]

In the end she mutters it out.]
