1st Chestnut: Arrival [Action/Voice]
Action/Voice
[People who happen to be making use of the Hot Springs might take note that there's a stranger in their midst. A short, bald man with six little dots on his forehead is laying down and sleeping on one of the deck-chairs near the edge of the tub. He's dressed, at least, but that doesn't change the fact that he's just there, dozing away with a journal for a pillow. Occasionally he lets out a little sigh of contentment, mumbling to himself in his sleep and seemingly oblivious to the world around him.
After a while, he does wake up though, and looks around, completely lost. In his flailing he notices the journal he's been laying on and grabs it up.]
Huh? What...? Well how the heck did I end up in a hot spring? And...what's with this thing? Oh man I hope that blinking light doesn't mean it's gonna explode or something. That'd be just my luck...
[There's the sound of random buttons being pressed and the picture flickers a few times before Krillin realizes that the blinking light means that it is, in fact, recording. He sounds immediately apologetic, and just starts speaking normally, if somewhat formally.]
Uh...sorry about that. My name's Krillin and ah-hehehe I don't know who's Capsulepad this is, but I found it and I wanna return it. The book model is really cool, I didn't even know they made them, but I'm not a thief. If you can hear this, then let me know where you are and I'll return it right away. Only, I guess it'd be great if you could give me some directions too.
[Later, after he's finally departed and begun to poke around his new surroundings, Krillin makes a beeline for town, whizzing along through the chilly air and cursing his luck. It's cold, and his clothes are freaking gone, and he of course missed the teleporter. Once he finds and swipes some clothes, he'll start poking his head around trying to find out where he can get some food and more information. So, expect him to turn up in the Item Shop, Bakery, and Welcome Center.]

1 of Several!
He squawks and rolls out of the way, coming up on his feet a few yards away]
Oh...great...
[The elite reclaims a knife and stalks towards Krillin like some sort of bizarre, winged Jim Bowie. He swipes once, and the little guy gets out of the way, getting a good kick in, bruising the elite's arm.]
2 of Several!
3 of Several
Hah! Take that!
4 of Several
Krillin's quick to get up, and he looks mighty nervous as the elite comes at him. Hadn't he just broken that guy's leg?]
5 of Several
As quick as that, the elite's recovered though, grabbing another knife from it's belt and running towards him!]
6 of Several
Krillin's about to make a backswing when the elite picks up speed in a sudden burst of wind, crashing into Krillin and stunning him for a moment! The spear goes flying, and the elite starts punching Krillin, pounding away!]
7 of Several
With an angry shout, now Krillin's on top of the guy, pummelling away until he stops moving. Clearly, after all that, the fight's pretty much over. Krillin's got a bloody nose, several bruises, a black eye, and a few cuts on his shoulders and legs.]
The END
And stay down! Jerk!
[Then he hobbles towards the door, wondering if that was all Vegeta had in mind. The prince of all jerks, he probably wasn't done.]

[When the monk finally manages to make his way back over, he speaks up.]
Well, you actually managed to survive. I'm impressed.

What was that guy? One of those Third Party mooks?

[Man that'd been no fun at all.]
I mean, I don't know if you can really compare a knife-fighter like that to some of the guys we've fought in the past, y'know?
no subject
[That's going to suck, too. He's not even looking forward to that too much and he loves to fight.]
no subject
What else do they do then? And have you had to fight them yourself? I mean, they aren't just going to show up here, right?
no subject
I haven't had to fight them without the use of my power yet, but it's very possible they will show up here. They have before. [He points his index finger out at Krillin.] So don't get complacent like a lot of these other oafs here, got it?
no subject
I figured that much out. They have wings...and ours don't work. Which doesn't seem fair but then most of this stuff doesn't.
[And a flicker of annoyance crosses his face.]
And when have I ever gotten complacent?
no subject
Now, unless you've got something of worth to say, you can go. I've got matters to attend to and I've already wasted enough time educating you on what to expect outside of this silly false peace we seem to be having currently.
no subject
[He's not letting you brush him off right now.]
How many of us from home are there, first of all?
no subject
Ten, but New Feather season isn't over yet, so we may see a few more show up. [Because he doesn't know about 17 quite yet.]
no subject
And, are there any of our enemies from home?
no subject
Android 18 is here as well, along with Kakarot's boy Goten and his granddaughter Pan. That's all as far as I know. No one that we'd have to worry about has shown up, and even if they did. I'd eliminate them with no problems.
no subject
[He rubs his hands together, thinking.]
Just...how far into the future are you from me, anyway?
